  1. That was a great read! Well written and well done on a good effort in one of the most challenging “one day” AR’s I have ever attempted. It seems we had a similar day out there!!!

  2. Awesome article Eric makes you feel like you were really there!!! Oh wait I was and that’s why I cannot walk!!! Glad you enjoyed it and very jealous that you guys get to go out and do it again in May!

  3. Very good report and photos! Enjoyed reading it but at the same time felt slightly nauseous when I saw the photo of the rocky shore, like a flashback to Saturday evening. We also sat down at the damn wall and regrouped, stared at the red light on top of the mast way up there for a looong time and then called it quits.

  4. a few months ago a plan got floated about paddling down the breede. I sent in your expedition report and the plan got sunk pretty soon(i shouldn’t have told them about the first 4 days).

anyway, that’s an honest appraisal… and i just lugged a bike round the trekking leg. We are still deciding what to do with Grant, but you can be rest assured that this will be the roffest 100km race we ever put on (i wouldn’t even know where to start on how to top it?!)
